Originally from London, England, Steve McDonald, Senior Director of Human Resources at Eclipse Gaming, spent the early years of his career working for the UK government, where he quickly rose to the ranks to Executive Officer status. After seven years’ service, he made the move to the private sector, joining Promethean, a rapidly growing education technology company founded in Lancashire, England, as a Global Reward Advisor. After spending two years with Promethean in the UK, McDonald relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where he was promoted to the role of Director: Global Compensation and Benefits, reporting directly to the CHRO.
Following a 13-year tenure at Promethean in various HR roles, McDonald joined the CRH Group, the world’s largest construction-related business, as their Compensation and Benefits Manager at Oldcastle Infrastructure.
He joined Eclipse Gaming in 2021 and brings a wealth of experience, with a career spanning 20+ years in multiple sectors, industries, and countries. He is responsible for everything people related in the business and leads the Company’s internal ‘Going Beyond the Game’ initiatives, which give back to Atlanta- based non-profit organizations as well as Eclipse’s partnering tribal communities across the U.S.
